Mark Carpenter is a travel advisor, content creator, educator, and entrepreneur based in Decatur, Alabama, and the founder of Seas, Summits, & Skies Travel. His journey into the travel industry is rooted not in a traditional tourism background, but in a deep personal passion for exploration and storytelling. Before launching his travel brand, Mark spent over a decade in education and more than twenty years in educational publishing—experiences that sharpened his ability to communicate clearly, teach effectively, and connect with audiences. Those skills now serve as the backbone of his approach to travel advising: informed, thoughtful, and grounded in real-world understanding.
